Annie Armstrong
The Colin Neighbourhood Partnership led by Annie has had a major impact on areas such as Twinbrook, Poleglass, Lagmore and Kilwee through a mixture of arts based initiatives and health programmes. Annie has transformed her organisation into one of our most successful social economy organisations.
Andrew Dougal
Andrew has led NI Chest Heart and Stroke for 25 years. During that time he has shown intense courage and leadership in bringing about change for NI Chest Heart and Stroke service users. He has maintained a determination and forthrightness on issues such as initiating and following through on campaigns to greatly reduce waiting times for cardiac surgery, legislation for smoke free environments and the introduction of the NI Stroke Strategy.
Colin Neilands
Colin took over leadership of Workers Educational Association in September 2008. In taking the baton of leadership, Colin implemented a radical strategy to secure the future of the organisation which had incurred serious losses of funding and undergone a 50% reduction in its team through a difficult restructuring process to ensure its survival.
